“Trusted by the community, powered by veterans.” - “Sign up today and support a veteran‑owned business.”

The Spirit of Anzac is;
standing together, working together as one, as it is the only way we can move forward.

For veterans & supporters, by veterans
Veteransnet is veteran‑owned and run entirely by volunteers. It has been created specifically to support veteran organisations and local communities that do not receive government funding.
How this all works
Our ability to return meaningful fundraising benefits to the defence community comes from our combined expertise in communications, accounting, corporate engagement, and our commitment to keeping overheads low. Every member of our support team is a volunteer and a veteran, ensuring that every dollar goes where it is needed most.
This approach allows Veteransnet to work closely with veterans and the organisations that support them, while also helping preserve the dignity and tradition of Remembrance Services and the wellbeing of our veterans — past and present — lest we forget.
Fundraising Services
Veteransnet's will be seeking many add-on services, so Veterans Organisations and those ADF Personnel, Veterans and Veterans supporters who take up those services benefit from any profits (surplus funds) obtained.
This is a simple but effective way to further help our defence community.
Our Technical Focus
Our primary focus is on NBN and Virtual PBX systems. Our management team has a strong background in communications and has been involved with the internet since its earliest public introduction through the World Wide Web. They have witnessed the evolution from dial‑up to ADSL, to NBN, and to VoIP virtual phone systems.
This depth of experience enables us to quickly identify the source of outages or on‑site issues relating to NBN services, ensuring reliable support for the veterans and organisations we serve.
Our team includes two “old fellas” — young at heart — who were hands‑on during the earliest days of electronic data storage and transmission in 1969. At that time, the ADF (RAAF) relied on pioneering electronic data‑processing systems to handle highly confidential documents, encoding them onto paper tapes and transmitting them over dial‑up phone lines using specialised equipment such as the Friden auxiliary paper‑tape reader. This early technology laid the foundation for what later became dial‑up modems, enabling computers to convert audio signals into data and eventually making email and online communication possible. Their experience reminds us that innovation, service, and adaptability have always been part of the veteran story.
Keeping it simple
Veteransnet is designed to make life easier for Veterans, Veteran Supporters, and the organisations that rely on fundraising to support our defence community. The site provides quick, efficient hyperlinks to trusted external resources, saving users valuable time searching for information.
Users also have access to our secure backend accounting system, where they can review yearly and monthly statements, track Dividends and Bonuses, and print their records when needed. The system automatically sends monthly email notifications showing the funds earned by each organisation that supports our veterans.
Veteransnet is still a work in progress, with long‑term goals to further assist ADF personnel, Reservists, Veterans, and their families. The site is open to scrutiny, as we are committed to ensuring full compliance with legal obligations and maintaining the integrity of a platform built in good faith to support our Veterans and those who stand beside them.
We welcome constructive suggestions from anyone who wishes to help improve, strengthen, and protect this service for the benefit of our defence community.
